What are people wearing?
This was my first big project, the idea was to work with RayVlog a big Japanese Youtuber, and StockX by doing a street interview-style video. We would go around Harajuku to find people with interesting shoes and interview them about their outfits. The goal was to put the price of the interesting shoes from the StockX website in the video to get people to potentially buy them and see them on a cool fit.
Bar Satin Campaign Mafia in Tokyo
We sat down and thought how could we promote a bar in the long term through social media? Our idea was that this bar isn't just a place to go drink. It is your hangout place. The place you go when you want to be with your friends or meet new people. It is a space that allows you to feel completely relaxed and energized at the same time. So we thought what if we through events play fun social games to build a community around the bar but also have fun videos for people to watch that's where Mafia in Tokyo was born.
Monday Millionaire Podcast
This idea of success in business stirs everyone up no matter who you are. But how does success happen? We wanted to find out what equals success. So we found various people in Japan to talk to about their life and their careers. We made a podcast to ask the questions to really understand their story. Not that success just happens but you have to work hard for it.
TYO Media
The goal for this was for the Youtuber RayVlog to position himself away from his normal YouTube channel but create a space where he could be off camera. He dreamed of his own company that would make content generated from his own staff without his deep involvement so he could focus on growing his company. He had a problem. His main channel required him to be on camera and a lot of prep so TYO Media was born. I helped translate and produce a lot of the content and cut it down for short form as well. It really took off on TikTok and Instagram with millions of views and tens to hundreds of thousands of views per short video, now Ray has gotten his media organization running.
iisansan
This was the last video on my channel. I started iisansan after going through a rough spot in my life. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do or where I wanted to go. After getting home from work and just binging YouTube it hit me, why don't I start making YouTube videos? That's when everything changed I had a new passion for life, and I started making videos with no clue how to do it. And I loved every moment of it. Planning filming, shooting, and editing. I love the process of making a video.
I believe in the power of video. I'm a self-taught video creator and storyteller with a passion for creating content that resonates. I love video and know the power that it can wield and the influence it can have with the right strategy and good content.
